So i got my first orchid about less than 2 months ago it was a gift from my bf, then i got another 2 from him, and another 2, and then another 2 within this one month, all given by him + 2 jasmine plants and one tree about 1.2 meter tall in a pot (don't know the name)... i think they are doing well with me but i'm not so sure since they are kinda new, but the leaves seems healthy and growing. before this i didn't have any plant at all, so i'm still learning the tips and tricks hoping to be really good at it.

so i'm gonna use this blog to write about my journey of getting to know how to grow orchids and jasmine, the mistakes and result and correction, tips and tricks i read and have tried, and results, hoping to come back and re-read it just in case i forgot.

so this past month, i re-potted the orchids i got right away cos i thought they looked tiny, only to learn later that it's not good to re-pot orchid while it still blooms,... but the 5 blooming ones i got are still blooming now, also the buds open several times on different flowers and they are still doing so. don't know why but i'm happy it's that way. i didn't have fertilizer the first time so i used rice water for an effort to give at least a bit of nutrition. i haven't found any article about giving rice water to orchids so i still don't know if it was a good move or a pointless one. i only know it didn't cause any damage whats so ever and looking good. now i have fertilizer by the name of dekastar which i bought online.

did i mention i don't know the names of my orchids yet? so i hope to find them out later.
